Ignacio Mastroleo is Adjunct Researcher at Argentina’s National Research Council (CONICET), Associate Director of the Program of Bioethics of FLACSO Argentina (Latin American University of Social Sciences), and lecturer in ethics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). His research focuses on ethics and governance of biomedical research and innovation (new non-validated practice). He served as an expert member for World Health Organization (WHO) in the Ethics and COVID-19 Working Group and the COVID-19, Ethics & Governance Working Group. He has coordinated research projects related to these subjects including the Ethics, Climate Change and Health (ECCH) Mentorship Project, funded by the Fogarty International Center, that aims to explore the equity of health responses to climate change health threats in Latin America
