João Gabriel Martins Ribeiro is a PhD researcher at the Federal University of Itajubá, Brazil. He works on projects focused on the analysis of climate change scenarios in Brazil and their effects on the availability of renewable energy resources. He has experience in climate modelling, processing climatic data, and Mesoscale/Synoptic meteorology. In collaboration with Prof. Michelle Simões Reboita, he works on statistical downscaling to refine input data for comparisons with climate projections.
