María Florencia Santi is an Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences at the University of Entre Ríos (UNER), and Assistant Researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET), Argentina. She is currently member of the Technical Advisory Commission of the National Advisory Committee on Research Ethics of the Ministry of Health (Argentina). She has a PhD in Philosophy (University of Buenos Aires) and a Master degree in Sociology and Political Sciences (Latin American University of Social Sciences, FLACSO). Her research focuses on bioethics, research ethics, health and social sciences. She has authored several peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, book chapters and a book. She has participated in several research projects related to these subjects.
