Natália Machado Crespo
Research Scientist
Universidade de São Paulo
Natália Machado Crespo holds a background in meteorology, with her studies focused on the dynamics and climatology of cyclones across South America and surrounding regions. She has contributed to the Western South Atlantic Climate Experiment (WeSACEx; 2019-2022), advancing regional climate modeling and assessing extreme winds and cyclone projections under climate change scenarios. Currently, she has been working as a Research Scientist at Charles University, in Prague, actively engaged in regional climate modeling projects that span from urban to continental scales, including convection-permitting simulations and coupled climate-chemistry approaches.
