Rose Jane Peras

Dr. Rose Jane J. Peras is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance, College of Forestry and Natural Resources, College of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of the Philippines Los Baños. Her areas of specialization include forest governance, social forestry, community-based natural resources management, watershed management, and human dimension of climate change. Her research project involvement includes climate change adaptation, resilience building, climate risk resilience, and vulnerability assessment and watershed management planning. Dr Peras holds a PhD degree in Forest Governance from the University of Tokyo; MS in Forestry major in Social Forestry and BS in Forestry from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
