Abdalla Mahama is an Assistant Research Scientist at the CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (CSIR-STEPRI), in Accra-Ghana. He has MSc in Economics, where his research focused on a causality analysis of the nexus between foreign direct investment, exchange rate and economics. Abdalla’s research interest extends on applying economic and econometric intuition in explaining social and economic elements that shape the lives of individuals and communities, particularly those facing systemic inequities, with influence towards economic growth and policy development. He has rich experience applying mixed methods in the fields of development economics, climate change vulnerability and adaptation studies.
