Abdul Waheed

Dr. Waheed, a Social Scientist with a PhD in Environmental Science, conducted research as a Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Liverpool, UK. Since 2016, he has been a researcher at COMSATS University, specializing in Strategic Environmental Assessment and the integration of climate change into policy formulation. Dr. Waheed has contributed to an RFF-funded project on Solar Geoengineering perceptions in the Global South and is currently part of an ARIA-funded project focusing on governance research, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis in South Asia. His work deepens the understanding of potential climate cooling technologies within their ethical, governance, and social context. Passionate about inclusive dialogues on Solar Radiation Management, Dr. Waheed leverages his expertise in climate change, policy analysis, and governance to address pressing climate-related challenges.
