Antonino Pereira

Antonino Pereira is an Agrometeorological Engineer with a Master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, and is currently a PhD candidate in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies. He is a permanent staff member of the National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG), where he serves as Director of the Department of Agrometeorology. Additionally, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Cabo Verde (UniCV). With 35 years of professional experience, his work focuses on agrometeorology, climate variability, climate change impacts, and adaptation in tropical and small island environments. He is the author of one published book and several peer-reviewed scientific articles.
