Felipe Santos
Oceanographer with postgraduate specialization in Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree in Aquaculture. Currently a PhD researcher in the Interdisciplinary Program in Human Sciences at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Fellow of the United Nations–Nippon Foundation Capacity-Building Programme, with experience as a visiting researcher at the United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea and at the Marine Policy Center of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Has eighteen years of professional experience in the Brazilian federal government, having served at the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, and currently the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
