Lara Paul Ebal

Dr Ebal is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Statistics at University of the Philippines Los Banos. She graduated Bachelor of Science in Statistics in Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology. She took her Master in Statistics at University of the Philippines Los Banos. She teaches various courses in statistics such as statistical methods, logic and matrix algebra in statistics, basic experimental designs, time series analysis, and multivariate analysis. As a researcher, she works with a team on statistics education, small area estimation, and the blue economy. As for public service, she does statistical analysis and consultancy for undergraduate and graduate theses, conducts training to private and government agencies along with her colleagues at the Institute. She is also a recipient of 2019-2021 and 2022-2024 One UP Faculty Grant Award in Statistics for outstanding Teaching and Public Service in UP Los Baños.
