Muhammed Mukhtar
Muhammad Mukhtar is working as Director/Senior Vector Control Specialist/Entomology in the Directorate of Malaria Control at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination, Government of Pakistan, with the prime responsibility to develop national policy, strategy, and guidelines for malaria control among other diseases. He is Chair of the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network Vector Control Working Group, works as a member of the WHO Prequalification Team for Vector Control Products Assessment, and is a “Core Member” of the Alliance for Malaria Prevention and RBM Vector Control Working Group. He is experienced in programmatic and financial gap analysis and needs assessment for the preparation of long-term and short-term plans for malaria and other vector-borne disease control, both at national and provincial levels.
