Olumuyiwa Ayotunde Oloniyo is a doctoral student at the Department of Environmental and Geographical Sciences and a Climate System Analysis Group member at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Oloniyo holds a master’s degree in Atmospheric Physics from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. His present research focuses on the impacts of Stratospheric Aerosol Injection on heatwaves, drought, and other extreme events in Africa. His areas of interest include climate modelling and extreme events.
