Dr. Rhythm Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy at IIT Roorkee, India. He holds a PhD in Energy Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, a Master of Technology in Energy Studies from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor of Technology (Gold Medal) in Electrical Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad. His research interests lie at the intersection of technological analysis and policy support for enabling a transition to renewable energy technologies. Some of the problems that he has worked on are the rooftop PV potential of Indian cities, generation scheduling optimization for integrating renewable generation, machine-learning-based solar PV power generation forecasting, and energy system modelling for clean energy transition in the transport sector.
