Siyabusa Mkuhlani is a Zimbabwe national, working as a Data Scientist for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Nairobi, Kenya. He has BSc in Agriculture (Crop Science) and MSc in Crop Science from the University of Zimbabwe, obtained in 2008 and 2013. He also has a Ph.D. in agriculture and climate change from the Climate Systems Analysis Group at the University of Cape Town, South Africa (2016-2019). He is responsible for providing data and farming systems modeling related support to build solutions that increase agronomic gain and sustainability. His research interests are climate modelling, climate change, data management, farming systems modeling, and sustainable agriculture to improve productivity and resilience to climate risk in smallholder farming systems.
