Dr. Thierry C. Fotso-Nguemo is a researcher and Head of the Climate Change Research Laboratory (CCRL) at the National Institute of Cartography in Yaoundé, Cameroon. His research focuses on the use of climate models to investigate on the impact of anthropogenic global warming on climate variability and extreme weather events, as well as their socio-economic implications. He also explores climate engineering techniques to assess their potential effectiveness in mitigating the effects of climate change. He is particularly interested in understanding the influence of human activities on the climate system and developing innovative strategies to address the challenges posed by climate change in order to ensure a sustainable future.
