Caroline Rodrigues Vaz

Caroline Vaz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Production and Systems Engineering and a permanent faculty member in the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at UFSC, Florianópolis/Brazil. Holding a doctoral and master’s degree in Production Engineering, she leads the SINERGIA research group on Renewable Energies. She engages in projects such as “Public policies and corporate responses for the development of green hydrogen in Ceará” and “Decision Support System for long-term hydrogen scenarios”, funded by CNPq, DAAD, and GIZ. Her research areas encompass Sustainability, Eco-Innovation, Renewable Energies, and Reverse Logistics, with publications in renowned journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
