Dr. Rahman is a Professor at the Department of Agricultural Finance and Management, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prof. Rahman is an agricultural economist with more than 17 years of experience in impact assessment of policy intervention, technology adoption, climate change adaptation, renewable energy, food security, aquaculture economics, and development interventions. Prof. Rahman completed his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Bangladesh Agricultural University. Following that, he completed postdoctoral research on climate smart agriculture and food security in the coastal regions of Bangladesh at Thailand. Prof. Rahman has published more than 40 articles in peer reviewed international journals. Prof. Rahman also worked on several research projects funded by FAO, IPM-CRSP (USAID), CIP, University of Oxford, SANDEE-ICIMOD etc.
