Muhammad Latif

Dr Muhammad Latif is an Assistant Professor and climate researcher at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI). He earned his PhD in Meteorology from CUI, with part of his research conducted at Stockholm University, Sweden. His PhD dissertation focuses on the dynamics of the South Asian summer monsoon system and climate change. Dr Latif’s research interests cover a wide range of topics, including climate variability and change, climatic hazards, large-scale ocean-atmospheric processes and their climatic impacts, global teleconnections, monsoon dynamics, and climate modelling. He has authored numerous scientific research articles in peer-reviewed journals and engaged in numerous international collaborations.He has authored numerous scientific research articles in peer-reviewed journals, engaged in international collaborations, and conducted research at various prestigious institutions such as the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, and Stockholm University, Sweden.
